SuperTots

April 11, 2013

Dear Coaches and Operators,

The Super Tot event will be a regional event this year, 2013. The SCAL board, have decided to immediately implement this event into our league competition to prepare any “little ones” that choose to skate this event at the regional meet.

Skaters skating just this event at the regional meet will not need an amateur card. Likewise, skaters skating this event, open precision, and or the beginner event only at the SCAL meet will not need an amateur card.

Per Richard Hawkins & Jim Pollard skaters with and without amateur cards may skate in the same event – difference – skaters w/out amateur cards are not covered under the insurance plan.

RULES: Six years old as of Jan. 1 and younger.
Freestyle – up to 2 min, accompanied by music with or w/out words.
   Figures – 1/1B
Dance - will be the same as the beginner contest. Make sure you write the skater’s age.
Any skater skating the Super Tot event ONLY at the regional meet will not lose eligibility to skate the beginner events at the SCAL contests.

Respectfully,

Rene` J. Johnson
SCAL President
