Holiday Inn
This hotel is about $140/night and is across the street from the coliseum, but
you can't walk across the street - it's too dangerous. There is no crosswalk -
in fact, sidewalks are slim and none in Ft. Wayne. You can take the
shuttle.
---Airlines---
Spirit Airlines
We took Spirit Airlines for the first time. It may be the last time, too.
Caution: No luggage is free. Even Carry-ons cost extra. Even water costs extra.
40 pound weight limit per checked bag. $25 extra fee for 41-50 pounds.
$30 per carry-on each way. Skates are heavy so we put 2 pairs in one
carry-on. Finally, they combined our flight, causing a 2 hour delay.
Legroom is very very tight for a 6 foot tall person.
That's the Spirit!
