Hello All,
 
I have been receiving many emails and calls asking about the 2013 National Championship Figure schedule of events.
Please forward this email on to your regional membership to help our coaches and customers with their plans for the 2013 National Championships.
 
The dates will be Sunday, July 21- Sunday, August 5, 2012.
The segments will commence as Elite/CIPA with “B” division events. Elite/CIPA practice tentatively Sunday evening (6pm-11pm --- “B” division event practice tentatively Monday, 6am-10:30am). The “B” division events will compete during the daytime hours and the Elite/CIPA events will compete in the evening hours. World Class events will compete before the Junior World Class events due to the World Games in Cali, Colombia.
The “A” division events tentatively will have their practice day in the morning of Thursday, July 25, 2012.
Adult practice day tentatively in the morning of Monday, July, 29, 2012.
All “C” division events are competing as REGIONAL ONLY in 2013. By not having the “C” events at the national championships saves 13 1/2 hours of a 15 hour day in the national event schedule in accordance with the National Meet Director, Ed Harney.

There are a few items still being worked out. The tentative schedule will be sent to you all for regional distribution and posted on USARS website upon the approval from USARS Executive Committee.

Hello All,
 
USARS had a very successful traveling seminar in Cleveland two weekends ago with 92 in
attendance in which Jessica Gaudy demonstrated all of the new dances for the 2012-2013
skating season before the Sunday morning workshop/clinic. All attendees of the seminars
were invited to video the dances for their enjoyment, further education and use at their
home clubs. USARS will be conducting another seminar in Odenton, MD this coming weekend as
well as in Citrus Hts., CA February, 9-10, 2013.

If you wish to review the You Tube dances, please type in: the dance 
name_Gaudy_Cleveland_102812.  The video is not perfect, but it will give you an idea of
the layout of the dances on the floor.
